Leading a team of 15 Specialist and Senior Specialist Family Violence Practitioners to administer the following program functions: Crisis Response case management, After Hours Crisis Response, No Wrong Door Policy (intake/assessment/internal and external referral), Housing Pathways support and Active Engagement.
Set performance expectations for the team, monitoring progress towards goals and providing constructive feedback as needed.

Consultation, review and allocation of crisis response and community case management referrals in line with the Case Management and Crisis Response practice guidelines
Implementation of the Crisis Response Model (01/08/2024) of which key duties included working with partner-agencies to develop referral pathways, interface agreements and internal crisis case management practice guidelines
Ongoing duties include the management and timely review of external interface agreements (TOD WMA/TOD WMA/Safe Steps), processes and timely problem-solving should concerns arise
Establishing service agreements and maintaining relationships with providers of Emergency Accommodation and promptly responding to concerns faced by providers or staff safety
Provision of rostered on-call manager responsibilities to provide24/7 consultation to After Hours Crisis Response and Refuge (high-security) Practitioners

Provision of efficient and professional operational management, expert advice and leadership direction to the Crisis Response and Brief Intervention Team
Line management of the Crisis Response and Brief intervention Leadership Team (inclusive of Team Leaders and Coordinators) including daily support, supervision and debriefing to supervisees in-line with Gender Equity West’s clinical supervision framework
Ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the current legislative processes, practice frameworks and implementation of program manuals to support organisational compliance

Ensuring collaborative practice with the broader service system inclusive of liaison with police to obtain safe custody warrants.
