I must update and notify members if situations change to avoid any confusion or disarray. Previously, I worked at Royal Children's Hospital McDonald's as a crew coach. After working at McDonald's, I have learnt many valuable skills that will assist me in the future. Being a crew coach required me to train new staff members as well as take initiative and responsibility of the crew on my shift. Through my experience as a crew coach, I have learnt skills such as time management, multitasking, communication and leadership. When on shift, I was required to communicate with customers in a respectful and professional manner no matter the situation. This experience taught both communication and problem solving skills by resolving issues that may arise effectively and respectfully. I have also learnt how to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities at once as I was often required to help my co-workers in numerous different areas of work as well as meet high service standards.
My past achievements at McDonald's include being promoted to crew coach, being asked to represent my McDonald's branch at a corporate event, being a part of the safety team and winning employee of the month on multiple occasions. I personally also found the role rewarding by being able to lighten someone's day by simply listening and conversing with them.
