I pride myself on providing holistic, patient-centred care while thriving working in a fast paced team environment. Through my progressive career from an Enrolled nurse though to gaining my full registration in 2020, I have continued to gain confidence in both my clinical, and critical thinking skills. This has enabled me to develop my confidence in working in an area of high demand and acuity. I look forward to continuing to expand my expertise throughout my future nursing career.

My position at the Hobart Private Hospital was my first introduction into nursing since completing my Diploma in 2013. My duties on the ward involved pre, and post-operative patient care. This including pain management, IV therapy, medication management, wound care and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare members.

The skills I gained during my 2 years experience there were all achieved under the guidance of senior nursing staff while within my scope of practice.
