I am ready for a new chapter! I am eager to have a full-time job to introduce some structure in my life. I feel that my current employment is not lining up with my values or career path and I am ready to take the next step. My hopes are to eventually study through a fashion institute to live out my dream of becoming a fashion stylist!
I was hired at Cheeky Charlies in February of 2023 under a casual position. In this job I am required to serve customers food and beverage, operate a register system and manage cash. I am also responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness at all times and handling food prep throughout the day. On occasion, I will be required to order product and supplies for the cafe.
I was hired at Surf Dive n Ski under a christmas casual position where my primary role was to provide excellent customer service and strive to achieve daily store budget. After the holiday period, I was offered a part-time role with SDS Erina. In my time at SDS, some of my roles have been:
- managing sales and cash transactions through a POS system
- assisting with visual merchandising of the store, including rearranging table and module displays and dressing mannequins.
- receiving and entering new stock into POS system.
- security tagging, folding and hanging accessories and apparel.
- handling customer exchanges and returns
- tracking hourly sales results
Occasionally, an opportunity will arise in which I am asked to manage a day shift. When doing this, I am responsible for directing staff about daily tasks to complete, managing all staff breaks and ensure all budgets and KPI's are met to the best of our ability. I am also responsible for opening/closing the shop, handling cash upon end of day, completing all reports and checking/responding to emails.
I was hired as a Crew Member at Erina Fair McDonalds in 2017 where I was promoted within 6 months of employment, firstly to a 'McCafe' crew member and shortly after to a ‘Crew Trainer’ position. Due to the closure of Erina Fair Mcdonalds in COVID-19, I moved to Erina Mcdonalds where in early 2021, I was recognised for great leadership and was offered Management training. I was a shift manager at Erina Mcdonalds for 1 year and in that time, I was able to achieve higher roles in running specific departments within my restaurant. Some departments I ran in this time were 'Hiring' and 'Product Quality'.
