Summary

As a highly functional, innovative, strategic and creative individual, being on maternity leave over the last two years has been an eye opening experience! Learning to enjoy watching my beautiful children grow, and not focus on my career has been something I will always cherish. However, that time has come to an end, and I am now looking to find my next career opportunity, taking a step away from my teaching career and towards my passion of technology and coding. So I finally took the plunge and decided to formalise my technical skills during my maternity leave break. My capacity to acquire new knowledge quickly and accurately is one of my biggest skills which is why I made the conscious decision to complete an online, self-paced course through shecodes.io and Scrimba. I have equipped myself with front-end development skills including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and React. I am continuing this learning through Scrimba, diving into more advanced JavaScript and React.
