Summary

Born in Melbourne to British parents in 1969, we returned to England when I was young. My younger brother and I grew up in London enjoying our holidays in the country with grandparents and extended family.

I have always enjoyed nature and travel and follow these pursuits whenever possible.

I met my South African husband while backpacking in Kenya in the Summer of 1997. We married in 2001 while living in WA, produced our first two children and built a home on a rural property.

A job opportunity arose in Zambia, Ian's country of birth and we took it. We remained in this beautiful country for longer than anticipated and moved to South Africa to support Ian's parents in 2012. I was unable to earn a salary due to my visa restrictions but managed to engage myself in voluntary educational roles while being present for our children.

Our family of five returned to Australia in January 2022 and we have settled happily into Melbourne life.
