Progressed my role as a Service Manager to a Group position in the start of June 2021.
This new role sees me moving around to all of our stores Australia wide as a relief to Service Managers or when we are searching for new staff members for the role. I am also tasked with training new Managers and offer support in person or remotely to all of our stores.
This has been a challenging, yet rewarding role and has helped me develop my knowledge and experience in successfully managing our busy Motorcycle workshops.
While in my role as Service Advisor at Teammoto Triumph, the company began undergoing the transitioning of adding another prestige brand and the service department was developed into a combined workshop. I am now in the role as Service Manager and running a 7 branded workshop at Teammoto Triumph, Indian and Euro Springwood. I am in charge of all aspects of the Service Department and manage bookings, parts ordering/supply, technicians, sales requests and warranty claims. I have also played a part in helping to promote our brands at promotional days outside of work hours.
It is my responsibility to ensure my technicians have a fully booked schedule on a daily basis and all parts, servicing documentation and tools required are accessible in a timely manner.
This is a very busy and demanding role which requires exceptional time management/ organisational skills in order to maintain customer satisfaction.
I have been fortunate enough in this role to be able to develop my mechanical knowledge and gain valuable hands on experience.
Upon returning to Motorcycle Holdings, I took up the role as Service Advisor for Teammoto Triumph Springwood. This role involved me taking care of all the daily runnings in the workshop, booking in services, organising parts/tooling and managing my technicians. I was tasked with making sure budgets and efficiency targets were met and that the work shop maintained a high level of success and profit.
This role also required exceptional customer service and time management skills.
I managed the parts and accessories department at a joint franchise Motorcycle Dealership. We dealt with genuine and aftermarket options for all motorcycle brands. We also ensured all of our customers not only had access to the latest gear for their motorcycles, but also the best products for themselves to ensure they are comfortable while riding, as well as being safe, follow correct maintenance and follow legal requirements. I helped coordinate preparation and delivery of bikes sold and ensured our customers received the best experience while at our dealership.
