Emily Molloy

As a farm hand at Glenleigh Pastoral I perform many tasks including:

• General animal care and husbandry (drenching, back lining, vaccinations, marking, castration, assist with birthing)

• Crop maintenance (chipping burrs)

• General maintenance and labour (fixing fences, cleaning troughs, cleaning sheds, oiling shearing shed)

• Record Keeping (location of animals, numbers of offspring)

I performed many tasks when working at GC and LC farms including

• Problem solving (calling vet when animal was in need of care)

• General animal husbandry (marking, drenching, vaccinations, back lining, castration)

• Rouse abouting and wool classing at shearing time

• Move stock from paddocks to paddocks

• General Farm maintenance (wash and service motorbikes and side by sides, strain and rebuild new fences)

• Pest management (set and move pig traps)

I worked at Arggle Station during school holidays and weekends in this time I:

• Prepared livestock for sale

• Built over 10 km of new fence

• Assisted in preg testing ewes

• Footbathed all sheep

• Feed out hay to livestock

I worked at MBR Clothing after school most afternoons where I :

• Completed stocktake

• Answered phone enquires

• Ordered stock

• Completed sales

• Emailed customers

As a Cashier my job was to:

• Completed sales via card, cash or cheque

• Customer services

• Stocktake

• Counting till after every shift
