My name is Emma Burke, and im a 24 year old originally from a small country town of Euroa, Victoria. A small town where community values run deep. Growing up in a close knit community, surrounded by family, my mum Lyndel, dad Chris, and brothers Thomas and Nicholas, I developed a strong sense of connection, responsibility, and support. I attended Euroa Primary and Secondary School, where I formed lasting friendships and actively participated in sporting and community events.
I grew up playing sports including netball, playing in many Competitions and grades, from under 12s in Juniors to A grade in seniors. I had the opportunity to coach the local clubs under 11ns and 15ns teams. I also had the opportunity to assist and contribute to fundraising initiatives like the "Pink Stumps Day" for Breast Cancer awareness. My upbringing instilled in me core values such as kindness, compassion, honesty and respect for those around me. I believe in building strong trustworthy relationships and am always striving to improve myself and those around me.
In my free time I enjoy cooking and baking, going to the gym or pilates, and spending time with my partner, friends, family and my two beautiful puppies Rubi and Squizzy. These activities keep me balanced, focused and grounded, supporting my physical and mental health.
I recently took a leap and moved from Victoria to Queensland to support my partners career. A decision that took me out of my comfort zone but one I am proud of for the life experience and new skills it has given me. Building my confidence, resilience and independence, this move reflects my desire to embrace challenges, gain new experiences and learn and much as I can along the way.
I approach every aspect of my life with a commitment to hard work, reliability and making the best out of every situation. Whether its in my personal life or career, I always give 100% effort and aim to achieve my goals to the best of my ability.
