Emma Chislett

In my role as an Italian teacher I was responsible for two year 7 classes and a Year 8 Class with varying abilities. I was able to immerse students in the language by providing hands-on experiences with were planned and coordinated in collaboration with other staff. I developed lesson plans and materials to support student success alongside other staff with great success. I used SEQTA to monitor and record student progress as well as communicate with parents/caregivers and also ensure I was effectively differentiating in my classroom. I utilised a variety of teaching methods, including the use of technology and other interactive learning games to enhance the learning experience.

AURA is a brand new retirement village in Findon. I have held my role at AURA since the

beginning of operation. I work closely with the village manager to maintain day to day life for

our residents. This role includes general admin, maintenance and organisation of our facilities

and services, working with our restaurant and other staff, chauffeur services and cleaning

duties.

I also was trusted with the role of managing our social media platforms, and have taken on

higher duties in the absence of the village manager.

I have held several casual positions in customer service positions. I have excelled in online order

fulfillment, customer facing positions such as returns desk and also worked in the bakery. These

roles demanded a range of skills including personal organisation, working at a fast pace both in a

team and alone, and catering to the needs of the indiviudal customer.
