Career Achievements

  • Achieved £1.1million saving on L359 model year out obsolescence, through effective use of stock and investigating and exhausting every option available before incurring the scrap cost.
  • Leading the stock turn/working capital improvement project for Area North, Adidas. A 10% improvement in stock turn by the reduction of early shipments by factories and the push out of orders by 15 days to reduce buffers and reflect real demand dates.
  • Re-organisation of the Data Integrity team to improve efficiency and performance, continually driving the team to improve existing ways of working.
  • Delivered a flawless 18MY run out, achieving zero risk to production, leading a cross functional team, building on lessons learnt from previous run outs.
  • Through perseverance and persistence, managed to validate the avoidance of £0.5m in stock loss by charging it back to the bailee. Going forward any stock loss will be charged to the bailee and not taken by Data Integrity.
  • Implementation of a new database for the Halewood Obsolescence crib, recording every movement leading to a more accurate, clear and transparent record of inventory.
  • Saved £350k of potential scrap costs by refusing to scrap dirty engines and coordinated the cleaning, quality check and reinstatement of the engines back into production.

Hobbies and Interests

Personal activities include retail therapy, gym, arts and crafts and property development, project managed 5 house renovations over the last 8 years. In addition, providing my children with physically and mentally stimulated experiences is important to me, recently including - learning to play musical instruments such as Piano and Guitar, swimming, footie, soccer and camping.
