Throughout my time at Action for Children I created many bonds with different children and families from different backgrounds in life. Many of the young people in my care had additional support needs for example Autism and ADHD. My role within my job title was to ensure the best care and support was provided to the young people and their families. Throughout this time I would support children in becoming confident individuals in different community settings.

When I would complete my office tasks they would include communicating well with families to arrange any upcoming sessions. I completed paperwork that needed completed as well as taking leadership over my own learning whilst furthering my knowledge in different areas, for example training courses.

Throughout my job role at the community club I learned a wealth of knowledge which included how to bartend, pour drinks, handle money and deal with customer complaints.

I feel I have learned a wealth of knowledge on how to listen and support people through their experiences.

Throughout my time at Bright Starts nursery I have gained a wealth of knowledge on how to support children, families and fellow staff members in the best way. I used and continue to use initiative in my everyday working life. I can show care and compassion to other human beings although being confident to stick to policies and procedures at all times.
