Emma Hawken

Summary

I am a 25 year old female, currently living in Wollongong, NSW. I am interested in and have a strong drive to keep communities healthy, address pandemics, drive public policy, ensure access to healthcare, and have a strong interest in epidemiology studies, infectious diseases, and blood work.

My Master's Degree had a major in Health Promotion. I would like to work individually or in a team that strengthens and implements processes and procedures for public health studies. I aim to focus on the overall health of communities, and those that are more disadvantaged due to underlying factors.

I have a strong drive to focus on basic healthy living strategies and creating programs to encourage healthier lifestyles and minimise the risk of illness. I would like to improve the health of millions worldwide by finding treatments for the world's greatest health problems. I believe through harnessing the power of communities and governments, improved health can be marketed globally.
