While undertaking my Bachelor of Education (primary and secondary) I worked as a casual consultant for Seafood Industry Victoria and Yumbah Aquaculture. This included a range of activities including securing funding for a series of south west rock lobster fishers meetings in order for the fishers to work more effectively as a group. For Yumbah Aquaculture the role involved managing sponsorship, farm tours, local public relations and training development for staff.

These roles involved collaboration with various government agencies. Evaluating training needs and making training accessible. Strategic and operational planning. Project management of a training plan for the indigenous fish hatchery.
