My professional focus is in the area of Mental Health, I have experience working in the aged care sector. I have worked with people with disability, complex needs, within residential facilities, clinical environments and in community. I have worked outreach, with drug and alcohol affected clients. I have experience with clients impacted by homelessness. I have worked with vulnerable people. I am very experienced in crisis intervention in emergency situations, complex behaviour support and management.

I am always willing to expand my knowledge and skill set. I am trained in Trauma Sensitive Approaches, across all age groups. I am culturally competent, promoting culturally competent workplaces. I have a blend of both professional and lived experience, I am competent using my lived experience when appropriate, to support other’s in their own recovery.

I can work collaboratively with other health professionals. I can work as a team member. I have the initiative and self-sufficiency to work independently as required. I can be directive and take on leadership roles. I foster positive relationships with colleagues.

I have a growth mindset and thrive best in working environments that allow opportunities for professional development and continuous improvement. I enjoy learning new skills and am currently studying my Bachelor of Social Work at Flinders University. Quality service delivery is very important to me.
