McGregor State School Special Education Unit Visits (2018-2021): Companion of children, Sony Camp (2021): Companion of children, Red Shield Appeal Door Knock Collector (2021+2022), World's Greatest Shave (2022): Raised a total of $800 for the Leukemia Foundation, Peer Tutor (2020-2021): I was a peer tutor for students at Churchie in 2020, 2021 and 2022; assisting students with English, Maths, Science and Engineering subjects.

  • Greek Orthodox Youth Association GOYA (2021+2022): Participation and setup of GOYA events: Social community events (Futsal Tournament), Day-care supervision for the Greek School.
  • Torres Straight Island (2021): A few close school friends and I went to visit our friend's home on Thursday Island, where we helped out the local community reassemble after the lingering effects of the pandemic, raising money for the locals and even featured on the local radio station.
  • 'You Are Not Alone' Fun Run (2022): A good friend of mine introduced a new annual fun run initiative, spreading awareness on mental health. This annual fun run was organised among students from 10 Brisbane schools, with Churchie being one of them. As the school representative for this event, I helped in organisation and logistics, and promotion.

Leadership positions

  • School, School-Vice Captain and Prefect, 2022, As a School-Vice Captain and Prefect I am responsible with other prefects for maintaining morale and school spirit and assisting with discipline in the school. In addition to my general duties, I hold three portfolio roles, the Inter-school Portfolio, the Year 7 Portfolio, and the Academic Portfolio for other QCE students. In the Inter-school Portfolio I am responsible for the communication between other schools in orgainising and promoting events ranging from service activities to social events. In the Year 7 portfolio, I am tasked with helping the new Year 7s migrate into our school culture, making sure each and everyone feels safe and comfortable. This also includes the organising of friendly competitive events and as of 2022, the introduction of well-being talks with the students during care room time. Under the Academic Portfolio I am responsible for encouraging senior students (10-12) at the school in relation to their academic pursuits, whilst also representing them in relation to academic issues within the School.
  • Mansfield House, School-Vice Captain and Prefect, 2017, 2022, As school-Vice Captain and Prefect, I do not have a formal leadership role within my Mansfield House, however I have been a leader within the house including having responsibilities in running house chapel services and our annual inter-house events including our annual corss-country and track and field. I also helped organize and participated in and the various house-oriented service activities at the school, such as our frequent visits of McGregor State School Special Education Unit.
