Investigation into a the behavioural element to the performance gap by studying a housing project in Lincoln UK following Code for Sustainable Homes (lvl 5) and following PassivHaus principles.

  • Design and management of self-directed research program including literature, data gathering field studies, (interviews, surveys, logs), methodology and analytical methods.
  • Procurement of testing equipment through internal, and external funding and grants.
  • Data and Ethics management of privileged information during and after theconclusion of the project, as well as written reporting and publication of results

Research, Development and Management of a government funded project to implement a sheltering solution for specialist resin operations

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) are a shared funded Development Project between a UK university (University of Lincoln) and a private business (Floor&Wall LTD) and InnovateUK. The fund is 60/40 matched to hire me to direct concept design, features and production.

The criteria were to maintain a water-tight internal environment with an exposed prepared surface of 100m2+ , capable of standing UK wind gusts, modular, erectable within an hour and counters potential explosive atmosphere caused by MMA resin vapours.


  • Strategic planning and executing a hybrid iterative project management framework (TAGILE) to conduct rapid, successive testing and prototyping during the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct market research analyzing existing solutions, potential opportunities for expansion and competition
  • Analyze the issue, research and design solutions satisfying the project brief and updating the scope within the funding parameters incrementally
  • Meticulous documentation of project development, stakeholders lists, partnerships, fabricators and reporting between myself and all 3 supervisory parties (Innovate, business, university)
  • Drafting of stardardized and case-specific protective NDAs, initial contracts and partnership contracts in line with business needs to be reviewed by the legal team prior to official roll-out
  • Arranging fabrication and supply partnerships with material providers and specialist service providers including a co-development, supply and future maintenance arrangement
  • Seeking and applying for external funding including liasing with funding representatives
  • Liasing with internal and external stakeholders ensuring clear, timely and consice discourse is observed as I interacted with different skill types from academic, senior management, vocational and legal
  • Acquired a taste for Health&Safety management both in line with the project requirements and ensuring safe work and experimental environments for testing
  • Design experiment and testing procedure of component designs, new materials and complete systems
  • Finally and least expectedly, Crisis management, as the last 8 months of the project happened during COVID; causing funding halts, site closures, and closure of the business and partners
  • I oversaw a complete handover of technical documentation and manuals and outlined any further testing to be done
  • Ensuring impeccable document control and organization within secure intranet environment
  • This role ignited my passion for project management and is the reason I am pursuing a diploma and career in it after having moved to Australia

  • Provided simplified lessons revolving around my PhD topic in sustainability, the environment and the
    academic guidance of elementary students towards reaching this career choice.
  • I engaged through supervision of the school’s homeroom teachers with the students in both taught and interactive sessions over a period of 4-6 weeks


Assistant Teacher

Summer Position, the summer school ran for 2-3 weeks each summer between 2014-2016.The program caters to students in their first 1 or 2 years of University,or in their final years of highschool, occasionally junior or middle school.

  • Provide administrative support to the course leader, preparing spaces, printing study material, preparing brochures and vouchers, organizing living spaces and groups

  • Providing one-on-one and group based teaching support in studios by assisting students with research methods, guidance and general support regarding their stay in Lincoln.
  • Worked with teachers to design lesson plans and coordinate activities for classes, consistently noting successful ideas and identifying areas for improvement.

Students in the IBEX program came from all around the world (more noteably Canada, Egypt, Portugal, Brazil, Nigeria, KSA, Qatar,Egypt) which presented the interesting challenge and great pleasure of interacting with such a diverse candidate pool
