Youth Advisor

The responsibilities of this role is to help influence the Centre’s future strategy to helping get younger people involved and participating in ethics and debating. With strong interest from 74 people, the final 12 selected for the 2023 Council are a diverse group of high school and university students and early career entrants located in regional and metropolitan areas across Australia.

I have been undergoing the process to publish an article on the Ethic's centre website and will helping host a "thinking" session at one of Canberra's High Schools.

This is a new role for me, and will be doing my best to represent young people and use my voice for rural Central Australians.

Previously as a General Representative my responsibilities include voicing concerns to the executive team of the ANUYL’s that their decisions and actions of the club remain grounded and within the interests of the students who have joined our club. I also assist in penning articles in the ACTYL website, voting on and tabling policy motions, campaigning and organising events.

I have recently been elected as a Treasurer of the ACT Young Liberals, my responsibilities include the management of the Club's finances and assisting the President execute her role competently.

  • Also consisted a lot of cleaning, such as mopping, washing dishes and cooperating with team members to help deliver orders

  • This sometimes required to fix the machine or improvise when the manager was busy.
