• Complete regular removal and installations of new components including engines, hydraulic (pumps, cylinders, valves, hoses and motors), undercarriage systems.

• Replace parts such as bearings, seals, gaskets, filters and other minor parts.
• Disassemble equipment using hand tools such as wrenches, sockets and screwdrivers, electric tool, hydraulic tools, pneumatic tools & hoists to begin repair work and to complete repairs.
• Quality control inspection of the heavy equipment for safety compliance and operational efficiency before deployment to production.
• Operate hoists or forklifts when needed in order to move vehicles or heavy parts around the shop.

• Develop cost estimates and summarize financial forecasts in support of maintenance long-term budget preparation and maintenance strategies.
• Communication of plans to both maintenance and operational personnel, and coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure the plan is resource levelled.
• Manage maintenance requests for work center and create work orders for all approved notifications.
• Maintaining and updating records of maintenance costs, plant history and task changes within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Writing maintenance instructions (work instructions, checklists, BOMs,) for detailed scopes of work developed in Pronto Xi.
• Implement documented maintenance equipment strategy within Pronto Xi that clearly defines the work scope including the required trade skills, duration, special tools, materials and necessary equipment. Task lists, bill of materials and plant master data.
• Closely review and ensure that master data is well organized and maintained in CMMS
• Experience with MS Excel and project.
• Establish, maintain, and improve planning and scheduling by constantly reviewing maintenance strategies and work order operations to identify changes & improvements which can be made and ensure scope is correct and all resources required are allocated for efficiency accuracy, and provide feedback for improvement to company leadership.
• Liaise with procurement and suppliers to ensure spare parts are readily available when needed and competitively priced.
• Daily planning, coordination and providing support in activities relating to equipment and asset management within the maintenance department in the workshop and in the field operations.
• Manage maintenance team of 2 employees under my direct supervision while coordinating with 5 maintenance sectional superintendents, and 5 sectional coordinators to ensure success in repair schedule according to priority level.
• Ensure the integrity and safe operation of equipment through optimizing plant reliability, up time and output and help eliminate breakdown and maintenance costs.
• Document machine irregularities and completed repairs.
