Summary
Currently a construction management student with a strong interest in infrastructure, particularly within both the rail and major construction sectors. Throughout the entirety of my studies, various placements, and hands-on experience, I have been able to successfully develop my practical skills within project management, risk management, working within a team, and planning. I have been lucky enough to have had the opportunity to work within both the rail and industrial sectors, which has helped me build a true understanding of what is required for projects to be successful under real-world conditions. This includes me having the experience to successfully be able to tender, schedule, apply, and adopt risk management strategies and coordinate the workforce. I find myself being comfortable working within teams and understand the direct importance of having clear communication, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high safety and quality standards day in and day out. Alongside my hands-on experience and knowledge, I have also developed strong problem-solving, leadership, and organisational skills which have all been refined and highlighted through both undertaking university projects and industrial experience. I am I am seeking to continue and refine my experience within the construction and project management areas while at the same time ensuring that ensuring positive contributions to the project’s outcome as well as the teams.
