- Dismantle old, rusty cattle crates mostly using a plasma cutter to cut down parts

- Rebuild new frames and fit together to build new crates

-Fabricate new parts for cattle crates including doors, gates, walkthrough flaps, side load flaps

-Press floor sheets

- Rewire new rebuilds with sidelights, interior lights and taillights

-General maintenance on crates

• Mustered cattle on horse and motorbike
• Checked and maintained water supplies through troughs, tanks, pumps and bores
• Infrastructure including sheds and yards
• Maintenance of vehicles including Utilities, motorbikes, tractors, bobcat and light trucks
• Worked as part of a team and reported back to leading hand

• All routine maintenance tasks including; greasing bearings and checking bearings for noise/heat, checking belt tensions and oil levels of gearboxes
• Fabrication jobs - pump guards, pipe-work, frames
• Operation of lathe and milling machine
• Operation of hoists, forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Oxy and acetylene cutting and heating
• Factory shut-down once a year - all factory equipment major maintenance overhaul and servicing
• Attend to important factory and farm breakdowns
• Work with and fix electric and fuel powered pumps
• General machinery maintenance – loaders, tractors, bobcat
• Worked as part of a six man maintenance team
