• Responsible for the safely operating Mercedes AROC 5 trucks to deliver plant equipment, machinery and materials to the civil and contrition industries throughout the Waikato and surrounding region, driving to conditions on sealed and unsealed roads with strict compliance to all New Zealand road rules and regulations
• Loading equipment on and off Flatbed trucks ensuring that all equipment was correctly strapped down and loaded as per load restraint guidelines, utilise high pressure water blaster to ensure that buses and trucks are cleaned and refuelled as required
• Participate in positive two-way radio communication with other operators and SIMOPS and operators to load and unload machinery and spotting as required
• Displaying exceptional communication skills verbal, written and interpersonal when liaising with clients, supervisors and other operators regarding schedules and project changes
• Conducted regular pre-start checks on the plant equipment and machinery, ensuring that they are in full working condition prior to delivery and reporting any malfunctions immediately to management
• Adhered to company and site safety procedures including conducting JHA's and SWMS, attending Toolbox meetings and wearing the correct P.P.E for the task such as work boots, gloves and masks
• Providing effective leadership to achieve business objectives by fostering a culture where safety is a core value, adhering to company and site safety procedures including JHA's, SOP's and hazard identification and reporting.

• Responsible for the operation and transportation of a range of machinery including Tractor, Silage trucks, Crane trucks, Dump trucks and weigh bridge operations for the agricultural industry driving to conditions on sealed and unsealed roads with strict compliance to all New Zealand road rules and regulations
• Facilitate the management of work crew during harvesting
• Loading equipment on and off Flatbed trucks ensuring that all equipment was correctly strapped down and loaded as per load restraint guidelines
• Effectively liaising with Management, other Operators and team members to relay any relevant safety information or updates to projects
• Ensuring correct P.P.E is worn at all times utilising steel capped boots and gloves
• Utilising effective 2-way radio communication when communicating with SIMOP's and truck drivers to load and unload items and spotting as required
• Perform daily machinery pre start inspections, ensuring machines are in good working order, reporting any maintenance issues and tagging out if unsafe to operate
• Actively contributed operational and safety improvement ideas to the green life coordinator and within daily pre-start and monthly toolbox
• Ensure full compliance with all site OH&S procedures when attending to emergencies including operating under isolations, permits to work, JHA's, SOP's, Take 5's, barricading of the areas and hazard identification and reporting whilst promoting a safe working environment that is incident and injury free.
