  • I started my own art consultancy providing valuations, appraisals and condition reports for private and corporate art collections. I worked of a number of corporate art collects including Dimension Data, MTN (Mobil Telephone Network) and Arcelor Mittal.
  • In addition, I provided guidance on proper care, maintenance, and display techniques for various types of artwork to ensure longevity and preservation of value.
  • I valued one of the most important corporate collections in South Africa. MTN is one of the largest mobile networks operators globally and hold top position in Africa.
  • My biggest accomplishment was being invited to do a valuation for Cambridge University.

  • I was head of department of jewellery, silver and clocks for Johannesburg and Cape Town. I was the main cataloguer and researcher.
  • I was part of the entire auction process and catalogue production. I travelled throughout South Africa doing valuation days similar to the Antique Road Show.
  • I was an auctioneer for a number of different departments including Fine arts. I also did a number of charity auctions. I travelled often to Sotheby's London. I went for training and worked on auctions.
  • I was privileged to work with Dendy Easton (Head of 19th and 20th Century Paintings) and Joanna Hardy (Head of Jewellery) from Sotheby's London. They were both experts featured on the BBC Antiques Road Show
  • My biggest accomplishment was to become principal auctioneer in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

  • I assisted the head of department in researching and cataloguing various fields including ceramics, glass, metalwork, works of art and textiles.

  • My biggest accomplishment was researching and cataloguing an important antique doll collection.
  • I travelled to Sotheby's London and I was privileged to trained by Phil Howell. He was head of European Ceramics and Glass.
