I am currently employed as the Sales and Marketing Administrator at Luna Park Sydney, and I am also a graduate of both an Interior Design (Dip.) and an Industrial Design (B.); with particular interest in graphic and furniture design as well as majoring in sustainable design and interactive media. My previous role at Luna Park Sydney was as the Birthday Party and Group Sales Coordinator, having overseen the continued success of the Birthday Parties at Luna Park Sydney over the last 5 years - even during the NSW Covid Restrictions. I have moved through the parks in various roles since starting there in 2009, and have always endeavoured to maintain advanced knowledge across the various relevant aspects of the park.

Senior Sales and Marketing Administrator

  • In my current role as senior sales and marketing administrator I have been given the opportunity to take on the role of our CRM Database management; ensuring that our client lists of 30,000+ entries is accurate and up to date, maintaining all internal documentation as changes are made to pricing and offerings, and the general upkeep of our database.
  • While in this role I have provided support to the team as the most proficient user our CRM, providing day to day support, training and trouble shooting for my colleagues. Often times overseeing the creation of event entries and contracts before handing them over to the events and legal team.
  • In addition I have undertaken the following projects - compiling SWOT on various sales areas, coordinating submissions to industry exhibitions and maintaining current knowledge of changes happening across the park.

Birthday Parties and Group Sales Administrator

  • As the Birthday Party and Group Sales Administrator I was responsible for facilitating the end to end processing of all group bookings and birthday parties that took place in the park.
  • To do so I was first required to provide customers with information and suggestions on how to best plan their party/attendance, ensuring I listened to customer needs and specifications and appropriately directed them to the product they needed.
  • While doing that I was also able to maintain daily and weekly operational needs, across a number of programs as well as the corresponding physical materials. With the culmination of each booking requiring that I provide all information and physical materials to frontline staff, so that the in-park transactions with guests were as straightforward and seamless as possible.
  • During my time in this role I also sought to streamline the number of programs used to create each booking and simplify the collection process for both guests and ground staff.

  • Through my time in guest relations I gained experience with the different tasks within the department, while at the same time being responsible for my performance and that of those around me. This was shown in my placement as a Box Office Attendant, an independent role that depends on my initiative, time management and proactive approach to tasks.
  • I was given the responsibility of training other members in the majority of the Guest Relations competencies including; ticket sales and queue, guest relations desk attendant, annual passes and box office. While working with Luna Park I had the opportunity to better our customer database, in particular cleaning, maintaining and updating the Annual Pass and Email Subscriber database, while at the same implementing new procedure in the park to ensure the continued satisfaction of our email subscribers
