Summary

My name is Faatali Fiti and I have been working as a Carer for two years at older people's Homes in New Zealand before I changed my career and became an early childhood teacher for thirteen years in New Zealand where I worked with different age group including children with special needs before migrating to Australia and working as a Kindergarten Teacher for six years. I am so passionate about helping young children develop emotional, social and educational skills. I am familiar with developmentally appropriate activities and experienced by providing nurturing environments conducive to learning. I am a reliable and friendly educator who is familiar with behavioural and educational issues and successful ways to address concerns. I am a trained teacher who is attentive to children ‘s needs and experienced in working with different aged group of children. Last six years I had been teaching the pre school children to prepare them for school by teaching foundational learning concepts which help them explore numbers, letters, colours with fun activities and lessons linking them to the QKLG and EYLF. I also support children’s learning including the value of play-based learning, what children might gain and how it helps build confident and competent learners. I can work under pressure and adapting to new situations and challenges to best enhance the organisation.
