• Armadale Hospital Dialysis Unit, June-July 2025: Nursing Student Placement. Participated in clinical handovers, conducted patient assessments, and checked vital signs before and after dialysis sessions. I assisted in setting up the dialyzer and bloodlines and administered medication via the lines with the guidance of an RN. I provided patient education on the importance of fluid restrictions and care for the vascular access site. I observed and escalated issues, such as low blood pressure, muscle cramps, or bleeding, to my nurse preceptor.
• Bentley Hospital older adult mental health Sep - Oct 2024 nursing student mental health placement I participated in clinical handovers, admissions, and cognitive status examinations (MSE) I also accepted patient loads, and under an RN’s guidance, joined multidisciplinary team meetings, and administered meds under RN supervision I participated in pre- and post-care for patients undergoing electroconvulsive therapy (ECT)

As a nursing student, I performed ECGs and skin assessments, administered vaccinations and medications under supervision, managed wounds and urinalyses, prepared and administered iron infusions, and provided health education to patients.
• Mount Hospital, 11/2/2020 - 6/3/2020, nursing student, acute care placement. I participated in clinical handovers, took care of two patients under the guidance of an RN, attended team meetings, administered medications under RN supervision, assisted with grooming, helped with patient admissions for surgery, and performed post-operative care and observation.
• Fremantle Hospital, 9/2019 - 27/9/2019, nursing student, sub-acute care placement. My duties include performing ECG assessments, administering medication, checking the DD cupboard, balancing fluid charts, writing progress notes, assisting with personal hygiene, managing wounds, and caring for two patient loads under the supervision of an RN.

As a student nurse, I administered palliative medication, cared for residents in palliative and end-of-life stages, and prepared deceased residents for funeral directors while providing emotional support to both families and residents.
