3) Theatre lists: Working in theatre, being part of elective theatre lists

4) Communication: Counseling of patients and their families, explaining things in simple language

5) Support: Maintaining a healthy relationship with colleagues and providing cover in case of absence

Banaras Ahmed Hospital offers GP clinic services to the nearby population. It includes the treatment of common medical conditions as well as the urgent assessment and referral of emergency cases to the tertiary level. I worked here as an SHO for 40 hours per week. I used to see 40-50 patients everyday and the cases I came across were Gastroenteritis, GERD, Hypertension, Diabetes mellitus , respiratory tract infections, diarrhoea, fungal skin infections, UTIs and headache.
