During my two social work placements, I have developed a strong foundation in both direct practice and systemic approaches to support diverse client groups. In my first placement, I gained experience in [insert field/setting, e.g., disability and aged care services], where I enhanced my understanding of social policy, risk management, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Currently, at ACAP Clinic, I am building therapeutic skills through child-focused interventions such as sand therapy and creative activities, conducting intakes, and applying trauma-informed and intersectional practice frameworks. Across both placements, I have strengthened my capacity for critical reflection, client advocacy, and culturally responsive practice, while demonstrating a commitment to self-determination, human rights, and professional ethics.
