• Undertaking history
• Arrange appropriate investigations of presenting patients
• Undertake physical examinations as required
• Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to maximise patient's health outcomes
• Determine patient's diagnoses and differential diagnoses
• Implementing treatment plans for patient's presenting health condition
• Prescribing medications as required
• Provide counselling for both patients/family members/carers
• Follow up with patients for further treatment / advice relative to their diagnoses
• Assessing and evaluating patients with acute clinical problems in ED, For example, MI, Falls, Stroke, Mental Health, Snake and Spider bite, Peri anal abscess, concussion and many more
• Management of chronic medical conditions and follow up of patients
• Performing minor surgical procedures including wound care, and biopsy under supervision
• Referral of the patient to specialists for further treatment
• Recording and maintaining accurate, adequate and relevant patient records

• Providing medical care for the general ward and special ward patients and medical services to the patients of all age groups in the community
• Undertaking twice daily ward rounds and attending to the new admissions and taking history
• Arrange appropriate investigations of presenting patients
• Handling the diagnosis, treatment, and the referrals for patients
• Communicating within a multidisciplinary team to ensure best possible outcomes for patient
• Communication skills through examinations, patient history taking, documentation and professional communication with patients and colleagues
• Management of postoperative patients
• Performing clinical procedures like IV cannulation, arterial and venous blood sampling, suturing, wound care, and other life-saving procedures
• Communicating with patient's relatives, developing rapport with the patient
• Accompany the team of medical practitioners during their visits to medical camps and awareness workshops
