It has 20 beds with 8 hyper acute beds.

Hyperacute patient nurse ratio is 1: 2 otherwise it is of 1:6.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitated clear communication of patient status during handovers to promote safety.
• Assessment of patients
• Clinical observations ( vital signs and GCS),recording and escalating any deterioration.
• Administration of medications as prescribed by different routes such as oral NG, PEG,PR,IV , IM and subcutaneous .
• Phlebotomy , sending bloods and other samples to the laboratory.
• Taking ECG and cardiac monitoring.
• Moving and handling of patients by using different types of hoists and other equipment.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams.
