- On this marijuana farm, I started out as a deleafer for the outdoor crop
- This meant I would pick the leaves of the plant, so the drying process could proceed much smoother
- When the harvest came around, I was there to cut up the plants
- After the harvest was done I was instructed inside 'the shed' on hanging, trimming and destemming
- A few days I was also asked to help with repotting the baby plants.

- On the orchard I was filling the day by picking cherries
- Here I had to make a careful collection of the cherries I had to pick and which not to pick
- The good cherries I'd put in a bucket and the full buckets would be picked up by the supervisor.

- On the farm i got quite intimate with the way of picking blackberries
- While picking said blackberries, I had to, again, make a careful selection of blackberries , for they may not be too ripe for they would burst, but they couldn't be too red either, because that would mean they were not yet fully grown
- Anyway, the good blackberries i put in so called punnets, and those would be put in boxes ,which the supervisor would come to pick up.

- For the 4 months that I've worked here I was mostly hanging bananas
- This entailed that I had to bring a trailer full of bananas into the shed, where after I'd put chains on the banana stem
- After having installed said chains, I'd remove the bag of the bunches and hang it on the conveyer hooks
- On the days there were no bananas to hang, I'd get another job
- Most of those times I would be deleaving, meaning I would cut the rotting and dying leaves off the banana tree
- Another job I've done on those 'odd' days is pumpkin picking .

- The company name may suggest that I did upholstery, but I was instead making blinds and curtains for people in Northern Queensland
- I was also tasked to help with installing some of said curtains and blinds.

- I had a wonderful time taking orders and helping customers to their food and drinks
- Often, when the shop wasn't as busy, i would make myself useful by helping in the kitchen by doing dishes, or help cleaning in general.
