As a support worker I assist clients with disability, illness or mental health conditions to support their emotion well being and promote independence.

In this role I take my clients out to do shopping, on outings for both enjoyment and exercise. I am there for emotional support and friendship. I am able to established trusting relationships with clients through empathetic communication and active listening.

As a private house keeper I am required to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the home, as well as cleaning, laundry and meal preparation for the home owners. This role required me to be self motivated, work independently, have attention to detail as well as being being organized and trustworthy.

In this role is was required to provide a safe and nurturing environment in my home for up to 5 children ages 1-11 years old.

The younger were children were cared for during the day. I was required to provide nutritious meals and care for the children's needs, while also engaging in age appropriate play and educational activities.

I would pick up the older children from school who would then return to my home. I would provide them with healthy snack, assist with homework and give them the opportunity to engage in fun activities until it was time for them to be taken home

During this role I was required to engage with families to ensure that the children were cared for as requested by the parents so that continuity of care was provided.

Providing care and supervision of very young children. Ensuring they are kept safe and looked after. Duties included keeping the child clean and fed, planning and implementing age appropriate learning activities and opportunities to enhance their emotional and social development. My role also required me to communicate effectively with other team members as well as the child's parents.

As a volunteer teachers aid I assisted in supporting the teachers in the classroom. In this role I assisted and supervised the children with math, reading, art and craft.

As a babysitter I cared for children of varying ages in their home. I was required to prepare meals, engage in activities and play as well as ensuring that the children were always kept safe.

As an au pair I was a live in child carer. In this role I was required to provide complete daily care for 5 children, ages ranging from newborn to twelve years old. This role required me to prepare all meals that were healthy and nutritious. Engage with the children in educational play as well as taking and picking up the older children from school. I was also required carry out all house work.
