Extra Relevant Experience

  • In February of 2023, I was deployed with a task force to the Kimberley region (specifically Fitzroy Crossing) to assist in the recovery efforts from major flooding, caused by Ex Tropical Cyclone Ellie. Our main task was to investigate properties and make them safe, so the owners could return. We were also involved in the loading and unloading of goods and civilians transported by air.
  • In November of 2023, I was also deployed to the Pilbara region as a part of a firefighting task force. The Hamersley Fire Zone included mine sites, pastoral leases and stations. Our tasks included asset protection on buildings owned by a leading mining company, complete planned burning activities to minimise the impact of the main fire and patrol fire lines.
