At a growing removalist company, I had the responsibility of leading truck loads and unloads of clients items. This role has allowed me to further develop leadership skills, as I was In charge of groups of offsiders whom I worked closely with to move items.
Secondly, I have been able to boost my on-the-job problem solving skills and critical thinking, as there is pressure to pack and unpack the trucks correctly, build/rebuild unfamiliar furniture, drive fully loaded trucks, etc, each move I complete.
Finally, and most importantly, this job has allowed me to strengthen my client relationship skills. Through this role, I greet clients, walkthrough jobs, complete move inspections, and even comfort clients during stressful moves.
Overall, this role has allowed me to hone my communication and problem solving skills towards a professional level.
