After leaving Jf motors to better my career I landed a role within a mechanical maintenance gang. I work with a team of great craftsmen

I work on shift coverage at one of Australian leading laundry’s where I have left my mark within the factory as well known hands on hard worker

Here at the laundry I work with a team to make sure the mechanical side of the laundry gets taken care off and the machines keep producing tons of laundry for throughout Victoria and further I work with a range of different machines washer dryers conveyors my skills are really showcased here because it’s a new issue every day I work with world leading laundry machines such as Jensen and senking

Tasks in the laundry consists of a variety of different skills

Such as welding,manufacturing, problem solving, being time efficient is the main goal to get the machines back going. Cleaning of the machines is a big factor here at the laundry and I take pride in a good clean machine to help with preventive maintenance

• Contributed to improved safety standards by monitoring adherence to regulatory requirements and company protocols regarding mechanical maintenance tasks.
• Mentored junior engineers and technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices for effective mechanical maintenance procedures.
• Maintained up-to-date knowledge on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical maintenance techniques.
• Expanded knowledge on latest industry trends with ongoing professional development courses, staying current on best practices in mechanical maintenance technology.

My daily roles at silver hill duck included

Bailing and shaving houses for the ducks

Feeding

Collecting roughly 800 eggs per day and counting and carrying out quality checks

I learned to keep records for the office and how to manage large numbers in a spread sheet form

I started with eoin nugent in 2019 as a young lad asA garage hand were I later progressed as a mechanic when I had free time

• Opened and closed service doors, organised equipment and kept garage clean, tidy and hazard-free to assist in smooth-running operations.
• Kept strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, promoting adherence to minimise staff risk.
• Completed routine servicing of vehicles to brand technical standards to reduce likelihood of future mechanical issues.
• Kept detailed records of all repairs, labour involved and parts used.

As a mechanic in Toyota I am required to carry out multiple tasks such as

• Completed logs and job reports for service calls at end of shift to preserve accurate information.

• Cooperated with staff and other contractors to finish or hand over tasks smoothly for successful project completion.

After arriving to Australia I got on the ball to find employment I arranged a trial with Jf motors a European specialist garage and I showcased my skills landing me a role within the company I worked at Jf for 12 months building great relationships and contacts that I use to this day I left Jf motors in Richmond to take an extra step further in my career my duties on the tools at Jf motors consisted of

• Replaced damaged, missing, or defective parts with new and refurbished components.
• Test drove vehicles to determine problems and test repairs.
• Completed full vehicle inspections to check for leaks, damage, or other issues of concern.
• Inspected and tested equipment to locate worn and damaged parts.

As a labourer on a causal basis I gained general experience in
