Aged-Care. Have just finished a 6-week remote contract at; The Flinders Island Multi-Purpose Centre. comprising nine aged care beds, five acute hospital beds, and an Outpatient and Emergency Department.

Four-month placement in Warwick, Queensland. Fast-paced working environment, supervising PCWs, overseeing Medcom's. With a high number of palliative residents, ensuring quality standards of dignified care; Monitoring, documenting, preparing Nikki pumps with RN/CN, family grief support.

Three-month placement in Mackay, staff shortages, placed me in charge of the facility with a CN or RN on call for an extended time, due to Covid-19. My time management and team leadership skills managed severe staff shortages. High level of wound management, Palliative to End of life, Diabetic care, MND care, Mental Illness care.

• Three different placements occurred between these dates, in two different facilities of Tasmania Rural Health.
• Both facilities, Flinders and King Island, were Multi-Purpose Services.
• Very challenging at times, extremely rewarding all the time.

Deployed all over Greater Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast, employed via an agency on behalf of the Australian Government Health Department. Supporting aged care facilities with Covid-19 outbreaks. Constantly moving facilities. Educating Aged Care Facilities on infection control managing Covid-19.

3 month contract in a rural aged care facility, leadership role, challenging position in a flooding event. Resulting in staff shortages, lack of Doctors.

Short term educational contract in Acute Mental Health Unit, the objective: to train and educate Enrolled Nurses in Acute Mental Health.

Wonderful opportunity, worked under dedicated RNs who strived to educate, enhancing my clinical skills.

• Gathering a variety of samples for testing.
• Trained in venipuncture and canalization.

• Designed and built a successful boutique accommodation business.
• AAA rated 5 star self-catered Bed and Breakfast for 9 years.
• Received NMRA Award for excellence in 2007.
