• Safely navigate the Movement of Vehicles and Plant within the job site.
• Draw up and interpret Traffic Management Plans and make adjustments to any existing plans if required - I have completed my Red Card (PWZ,IMP,TCR)
• Deal with Transport for NSW with obtaining Road Occupancy Licences (ROLs). Set up cones, signs, pedestrian walkways, Take out lanes on council roads and highways.

• Fill out daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) cards applicable to the task being preformed.
• Complete Inductions for Acciona (Sydney Metro and Harbour Tunnell), CPB (Warringah Freeway), Ausgrid, Connect Sydney, SPA - Sydney Program Alliance ( John Holland, Freyssinet TransDev) LendLease.
• Speak at Pre-Start meeting with any moving plant, exclusion zone or workers on foot related issues.

Responsible for a workforce of 15 staff for the hire of Vacuum Excavation Trucks NDD - Annual turnover of circa 5 Million AUD - Co-Owner with Husband.

• Developed strong relationships with clients for the hire of Vacuum Excavation Trucks with drivers - Take all bookings
• All operational and admin tasks - including, but not limited to: Setting up links to online inductions for drivers. Dealing with induction software companies like 3D Safety, Damstra, EIFY, Pegasus and others. Organising repairs and maintenance checks for company plant including registrations. Allocations of trucks and drivers for day and night works.
• Accounts payable and receivable on MYOB. All invoicing and wages. Getting accounts ready for our accountant
• Applied for tenders with contractors and government bodies.
• Applied excellent problem-solving, strtigic thinking, organisational skills
• Organised networking events and functions with industry partners
• Contractor compliance for awarded contracts - Insurances, Risk Assessments, COCs for drivers, SWMS. PPE requirements
• Purchased required PPE for our drivers and created pre-start checklists for Slaney drivers regarding PPE and vehicle checks that had to be checked and signed off before every shift.
• Projects at the time were Sydney Light Rail, M4, M5 widening, B-Line Northern Beaches. Parramatta Light Rail and others

I Ran a gift store in Ireland for 7 years selling high end gifts and small furniture. I Attended trade shows within Europe for purchase of stock.

I opened a Beauty salon in the same village as the gift store. I sold it to one of the therapists and it is still open and very successful to this day.

This is all prior to moving to Australia in 2011
