Highly-motivated employee with desire to take on new challenges. Strong worth ethic, adaptability and exceptional interpersonal skills. Adept at working effectively unsupervised and quickly mastering new skills.
I have been working at Collins Debden since August 2022, initially taking on the role of Logistics Administrator, reporting directly to the General Manager. My previous experience enabled me to quickly develop skills that exceeded expectations. With a strategic planning mindset, I reduced excess inventory in the warehouse, saving costs on pallet and shelf positions. I successfully coordinated two warehouses (one for online orders and the other for B2B orders), mitigating transfer costs between the two by coordinating direct shipping from Asia for e-commerce. This action alone resulted in a 20% cost reduction. Additionally, after conducting a cost analysis, I led a TENDER for a new warehouse, identifying opportunities to switch from pick-and-pack units or inner packs to master cartons, saving 18% of our budget. Collins Debden has allowed me to leverage my knowledge in Supply and Distribution, where I have significantly contributed to the company's cost reduction efforts.
In 2020, I took a career break to study English as a second language in Australia. From 2020 to August 2022, I dedicated myself to a sabbatical period focused on personal growth and language learning.
In the position of Operations Analyst, reporting to the Operations Manager, I collaborated closely with the Logistics and Supply Chain team.
During this period, I successfully implemented the SalesForce system to optimize the company's processes. My responsibilities included order management, transportation management, and customer service. Additionally, I worked in conjunction with the sales and logistics teams to devise and implement strategies aimed at achieving Delivery In Full, On Time (DIFOT) targets, ensuring orders were fulfilled punctually and accurately.
I was also responsible for implementing the EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) process, which significantly reduced the return rate from 15% to 3%. Under my management, I optimized the logistics processes related to order management, achieving an OTIF (On Time In Full) rate of 99.5% and reducing returns by mentoring internal sales staff to mitigate order errors.
For 3 consecutive years I was awarded for increasing profitability through the sale of new SKUS to existing customers.
