An 18-year-old high school graduate, I transitioned into my trade during my final year of school, focusing on horticulture, gardening, and landscaping. Joined a local Gold Coast business in 2022 and worked part-time three days a week while completing high school. Became a full-time apprentice in 2023. Currently completed 90% of TAFE studies and on track to become a tradesman within the next 12 months. I have a passion for working with plants and being outdoors in nature. Successfully grown a variety of plants including succulents, cacti, figs, fruits and vegetables, flowering plants, and seasonal plants. Skilled in working with worm farms, compost, and irrigation systems. My expertise is growing and maintaining native Australian flora such as palms, and Queensland Bottle Trees. Knowledgeable in plant classification, striking and cloning, and splicing. Extensive experience in transplanting and repotting various types of plants. Fast learner with strong willingness to acquire new skills. Effective communicator who excels both independently and as part of a team. Reliability and honesty contribute to positive relationships with others. Enjoys activities such as going to the gym, camping, and fishing in the bush. I'm a motivated Apprentice with expertise using equipment, hand tools and power tools to complete tasks quickly and accurately. Committed to bringing hardworking mentality and mechanical skills to workplace. Flexible individual willing to work long hours.
