  • Manage the day to day organisation of the school this includes:

- Replacing absent teachers with Relief Teachers with current working with children check's

- Ensure all teachers are given an induction in regard to the students in their care for the day/s they are working, particularly those with chronic medical issues. Eg anaphylaxis

Special events/programs:

- Ensure fortnigthly assemblies are organized with student input from all classes across the year

- Organisation/overseeing of whole school activities such as timetables for Yard Supervision, Planning weeks, Special Assemblies, Incursions, Photograph Day, timetables for Mother’s day / Father’s Day stalls, Meet the teacher day timetables- Early communication of these timetables to staff.

- Liaise with PE Teacher in regard to impact of swimming/school sports on APT and duty

- Excursions and Camps: Oversee the administration of all excursions and camps ensuring all DET regulations are complied with in the planning and implementation of the programs. (eg staffing ratios, medical requirements, permission forms, hard copy rolls at the office before departure)

Community:

  • Build connections with the community through parent forums, newsletter, parent partnerships
