I decided back in 2023 I wanted to take on a new challenge and change in my life.
I was a police officer for 19 years with the WA Police, working all around the state, predominantly focusing on country policing.
To be direct, I had had enough of attending critical incidents involving fatal car crashes and actual and alleged domestic violence disputes, sometimes multiple times a day to the same address.
I wanted a change in my life, and a challenge. I took up a position as an underground miner in August 2023, contracted out to BHP Leinster, and so began my career in the underground mining industry.
However, I'm now looking for a role based in Perth that does not require me to live away from home for half of the year, and a new role that allows me to lean into my past experiences and strengths that I gained in policing.
I pride myself on my physical fitness and my ability to relate to and speak with anyone in my community.
When not at work, I can be found at the archery range or on the Swan River kayaking.
Thank you for taking the time to read my resume and please feel free to contact me for any further information.
