(Infrastructure and Operations)

• Supervise technology projects from initial startup to completion, incorporating site planning, preparation, and coordinating with project managers.
• Proven experience in supervising and managing on-site communication projects, which require a thorough understanding of initial design, configuration, installation, and commissioning of any telecommunication/network infrastructure.
• Deliverables: LTE Network (mine), LTE 4G towers and upgrades, New Tetra nodes and upgrades, CCTV refresh, analogue to digital, and Cisco WIFI refresh (just to name a few)

• Extensive experience in assisting the specialist network infrastructure and network engineering teams in IT refreshes and hardware deployment, which includes Cisco switches, LTE servers, Juniper switches, and Dell storage servers, etc.
• Consistently depended on by our Perth network infrastructure, network engineering teams, and IT/OT on-site personnel to assist with technical support and resolve critical troubleshooting issues, relating to fibre breaks, switch issues, connectivity issues, fibre patching, and other required support.

• Installation, fault finding, testing and maintenance of underground fibre optic, communications and networking infrastructure.
• Installation of structured Cat 6/6a cable, rack build, and fit off.
• Installation of ICT cabinets and associated equipment.
• Installation of network switches, IP phones, and CCTV to refuge chambers.
• Installation of wireless antennas/access points.
• Documentation of systems, maintaining up-to-date plans.

• Coordinate, supervise, and manage all daily activities, including liaising with builders and electricians.

• Configuration of customers' PC, modems, routers and switches.
• Responding to all service calls as required. Covering repair, rectification, or minor modifications to the existing system.

WIRELESS:

• Convert a CDMA wireless local loop service to a customer configuration with voice, internet, and fax access points using Telstra Next Generation 850 MHz Wireless Link.
• Install a new NGWL service for the provision of phone, fax, and internet services, classified as copper replacement. This includes:

- Ericsson W25 fixed wireless terminal.

- Cabling the antenna to the terminal.

- Connection of FWT to existing internal phone outlets.

- Installation of nominated fax outlet.
