Currently employed at Fielders as a Customer Service Pick and Packer, responsible for the accurate preparation and handling of daily inventory and customer orders in a high-volume warehouse environment. My shift begins between 4:00, during which I manage the movement and organization of materials for the day’s workload until 6am. This includes scanning and processing each job individually, locating and arranging products for efficient pickup and customer access.
I operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move large and heavy items, including steel gutters, flashings, roof sheets, pallets, and various roofing materials—some exceeding 12 meters in length and significant weight. The role demands a high level of physical stamina, as it involves manual lifting, continuous walking, and direct interaction with truck drivers and tradespeople throughout the day as they collect their orders.
In addition to physical duties, I also handle problem resolution when issues arise, such as damaged goods, incorrect orders, or misplaced inventory within a large-scale warehouse. I take initiative to identify solutions promptly and communicate effectively with customers to ensure their needs are met professionally and efficiently.
