Gabriel Reynolds

Since early February, I have been working as an intern at Wex's APAC office. This role has provided me with invaluable industry experience that has refined my skills and familiarity with software development processes and best practices.

Some of my responsibilities during my time at Wex include:

• Delivering high-quality code in the C# and Angular languages to meet business goals and objectives.
• Creating unit, component, and integration tests to ensure new additions to services do not compromise performance and usability.
• Performing quality assurance testing on new features to ensure they operate as required, and when it is safe to do so, deploying these features through a CI/CD pipeline to production.
• Participating in sprint ceremonies such as retrospectives and refinement sessions to engage with my team members and continuously improve.
• Taking part in code review via GitHub to validate quality and develop my understanding of the team's codebase.
• Writing documentation for reference in future work.
