Summary

I believe that it is some of my best qualities as a person and junior doctor that drive my goal of pursuing a career in Paediatric medicine. Qualities such as empathy and patience as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Over the past two years I have continued to add to my ability to practice as an independent clinician as well as in a multidisciplinary team. In my current role I am frequently first on call and manage conflicting demands across the inpatient, outpatient and surrounding area rural service.

I remain passionate about health promotion, preventative medicine and the health of those in socioeconomically disadvantaged settings and believe that the best way to expand upon this passion as a junior doctor is to complete my day to day work with integrity and respect whilst working toward my career goals for the future.
