Summary

I am a mother of three children and have been employed in the childcare industry for the past 9 years. Midwifery has been a passion of mine since the birth of my first child 21 years ago. My devotion to being a mother was my priority throughout those years and I felt my role as a midwife required a dedication that was unable to be achieved until now much later in life. Five years ago I lost both of my parents and decided life was too short not to follow my dream, my children were of an independent age that allowed me to completely devote my time and commitment to learning. I believe that my life experience and my compassion together with my education and clinical practices will guide me in my journey to being a competent health practitioner. My ability to build rapport with women and their families and my communication skills enable me to collaborate well in a team environment and inclusively develop unique interprofessional relationships. Supporting women and their families through their pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum journey's is a privilege and working in partnership with them to promote self determination to make informed choices consolidates my passion for this role. I am a detail-oriented team player with strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.

I am a thoughtful, compassionate Student Midwife with distinguished knowledge of providing antenatal, and postnatal care for birthing and new mothers. Skilled in closely monitoring vital signs and dedicated to both safety and happiness of patients. Closely monitors health while maintaining stringent focus on patient comfort and safety.

Hardworking and passionate job seeker with strong organizational skills eager to secure an entry-level Grad position. To seek and maintain a full-time position that offers professional challenges utilising interpersonal skills, excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
