At SciDev my role as Site Supervisor was to oversee the installation of a waste water treatment plant for the Western Harbour Tunnel project in Sydney, my duties are listed below:

• Managed and supervised a team of 10+ site staff members to ensure safety, quality control and efficient operations.
• Organized daily workflow for the team, ensuring tasks were completed on time and within budget.
• Conducted regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations, including hazard identification and risk assessment.
• Ensured that all personnel wore appropriate personal protective equipment while working at construction sites.
• Monitored progress of construction works against contract requirements; identified discrepancies between actual works performed versus contractual requirements and reported any issues and delays immediately to upper management.
• Maintained accurate records such as daily reports, timesheets and other related documentation as required by management.
• Provided guidance and support to contractors on technical matters related to their scope of work.
• Coordinated material deliveries from suppliers according to project needs.
• Participated in job-site meetings with contractors, owners, architects, engineers, as necessary.

At PGSR my role was to undertake all Prepared Preventive Maintenance on all Diesel Fuel Installations sites for the Australian Defence Forces (Aviation, Navy & Army) and also at Vopak Terminals in Botany. My duties are listed below:

• Carry out PPM'S on fueling systems, replacement of components and calibration.
• During PPM'S I would note any reactive work required, majority of the time all reactive works were completed in a short timeframe as systems could not be offline for long periods. This meant working under pressure to complete works.
• Creating work permits, LOTO and risk assessments, liaising with sub contractors to ensure all work undertaken would be completed in the safest possible way.
• Provided technical advice on machinery repairs and maintenance activities.
• Prepared regular reports on production output and other related activities.
• Coordinated with suppliers to source materials required for maintenance.
• Adhered to company policies, industry regulations and safety guidelines.

As a Supervisor at Watmar I was able to enhance my communication, time management and team leading skills, My daily duties are listed below:

• Delegated work to staff, setting priorities and goals.
• Trained and monitored employees to teach daily tasks and improve performance.
• Provided support during emergency breakdowns by quickly diagnosing faults and taking appropriate action.
• Communicating with stakeholders to keep updated on how we are tracking with jobs.
• Communicating with stakeholders about problems/growth work encountered during works and providing a plan on how to rectify problems and return the system to the required working condition.
• Sourcing and managing 3rd party contractors to conduct tasks unable to be undertaken by Watmar,.
• Creating JSEA'S and ITP's for each job to ensure that the team have all relevant safety procedures and information to carry out each task.
• Ensure the team has relevant PPE to carry out all jobs.
• Documented processes for assembling, maintaining and repairing machinery in order to streamline future projects.
• Track daily hours of the team and designating hours to each job to keep up to date on cost of labour.
• Organize and order parts relevant to the job.
• Create and submit closing report on all finished jobs, including creating calibration certificates, Isolation sheets etc.
• Ensured compliance with relevant regulatory requirements relating to workplace health and safety standards.
• Collaborated with management team members on long-term plans for improving overall efficiency.

As a fitter at Watmar I had the opportunity to work on Garden Island in Sydney and Perth, I also worked on many different Yachts around Australia servicing Quantum stabilizer systems as their Australian OEM. Duties I undertook at Watmar are listed below:

• Servicing pumps and valves.
• Maintaining and overhauling hydraulic equipment.
• Maintaining and overhauling fuel and lube oil purifiers.
• Maintaining and overhauling Distiller and Reverse Osmosis plants.
• Replacing fuel valves for Aviation refueling onboard Australian navy vessels.
• Identifying defects and trouble shooting.
• Set to works of all systems, Testing and calibrating components, relief valves, flow switches, pressure switches and transmitters.
• Testing components using Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Hydro-static testing methods.
• Servicing Quantum stabilizer systems, Removal and Installation of Quantum stabilizer systems.

• Disassembly and Re-assembly of multiple different valves for braking systems on Sydney and Melbourne trains.
• Working towards KPI's set out by management.
• Inspect valves for damaged parts and signs of wear.
• Replace damaged parts and assemble.
• Test valves following test procedures and calibration requirements.
• Record test results and pass or fail the tested valve

At Kwik fix hydraulics I worked as a service technician across Sydney, my duties are listed below:

• Replacing damaged hydraulic hose on Earth Moving, Mining, Rail & Transport, Garbage Collection, Automotive and Marine equipment.
• Servicing and replacing hydraulic components.
• Removing and repairing hydraulic cylinders, valves and other components.
• Manufacturing and fitting steel hydraulic pipe work.
• Dealing with customers face to face to understand how we could improve the running of equipment or machinery.
• Working under pressure and working towards deadlines, Inspecting future jobs to order materials and components to complete job.
• Quoting price and completion time for future jobs.
• Writing up invoices and taking payments from customers.

At Mallaghan Engineering the company produced Ground Support Equipment for aviation, I had the opportunity to build and service catering trucks, De-icers, baggage handling equipment etc, Below is a list of duties I undertook during my 4+ years with the company starting as an apprentice until I was a fully qualified fitter:

• Field servicing and breakdown repairs.
• Tested the performance of mechanical systems by operating them under normal conditions.
• Adjusted functional parts of devices or control instruments using hand tools, gauges, micrometers, calipers.
• Assembled and installed parts on machines, tools, and equipment using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, jigs, and templates.
• Installing hydraulic hoses kits and components.
• Installed electrical systems, including wiring, circuit boards and equipment.
• Tested electrical systems to ensure proper functioning.
• General fitting, Sheet metal work, Calibration and testing.
• Quality assurances checks.
