Site Supervisor

At SciDev my role as Site Supervisor was to oversee the installation of a waste water treatment plant for the Western Harbour Tunnel project in Sydney, my duties are listed below:

  • Managed and supervised a team of 10+ site staff members to ensure safety, quality control and efficient operations.
  • Organized daily workflow for the team, ensuring tasks were completed on time and within budget.
  • Conducted regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations, including hazard identification and risk assessment.
  • Ensured that all personnel wore appropriate personal protective equipment while working at construction sites.

At PGSR my role was to undertake all Prepared Preventive Maintenance on all Diesel Fuel Installations sites for the Australian Defence Forces (Aviation, Navy & Army) and also at Vopak Terminals in Botany. My duties are listed below:

  • Carry out PPM'S on fueling systems, replacement of components and calibration.
  • During PPM'S I would note any reactive work required, majority of the time all reactive works were completed in a short timeframe as systems could not be offline for long periods. This meant working under pressure to complete works.
  • Creating work permits, LOTO and risk assessments, liaising with sub contractors to ensure all work undertaken would be completed in the safest possible way.
  • Provided technical advice on machinery repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Prepared regular reports on production output and other related activities.
  • Coordinated with suppliers to source materials required for maintenance.
  • Adhered to company policies, industry regulations and safety guidelines.
