Strive to instil good habits and values in students and those that I lead, fostering an environment that empowers them with essential life skills. Witnessing the growth and development of students both academically and personally is the most rewarding
aspect of my role.

CAREER OBECTIVES:

• To help students find strategies to thrive academically and emotionally by
  improving daily habits and weekly routines.
• To ‘WALK WITH’ students when they need to display resilience to confront
  challenges or find a way to overcome obstacles.
• To help students build self-confidence, be kind to others, and achieve their goals.
• To display consistent, healthy behaviours and be the most enthusiastic person every day whilst upholding the school’s values.

Current

• Assistant coach, coach/player mentor. Old Carey Grammarians (C Grade VAFA)

2019-2022

• Senior Coach Montmorency Football Club – played finals in both COVID completed seasons. Club had not played finals since 2015.

2013-2018

• Senior Coach Macleod Football Club 6 years – Played in 4 consecutive Division 1 Grand Finals, winning 1 in 2015.
• 2016 Winner of Northern Region Coach of the Year, and nominated for Coach of the State (2016).

2017-2019

• NFNL Senior Representative Coach – Consistently achieving success every year, leading the league to attain the top ranking as Victoria’s premier local competition.

2010-2011

• Lower Plenty Football Club, 2009 Premiership.

2009

• Watsonia Football Club.

2000-2005, 2007,2008

• Panton Hill 8 years. Including the highest finish ever in club’s history (2004).
• Winner of Northern Region Coach of the Year in 2004.

1999

• Under 15 DVFL Representative Team Coach.

• Changing careers at the age of 46 to follow my passion (helping people).
• Receiving many letters from year 12 students at the conclusion of the academic year, expressing their appreciation for the positive impact I have on their lives and educational journeys.
• Coaching Loyola’s first senior football Premiership since 2010.
• Running my own successful business.
  Co-ordinating the completion of multi-million-dollar electrical jobs on time and under budget.
• Authoring a book.
• Individual Engagement Coaching of over 300 teenage girls and boys.

• Engaging in Voluntary Presentations to Junior Football Club Coaches at Community Clubs, emphasizing the significance of youth participation in sports
• Mentor several Senior football coaches at Community Football Clubs
