I was engaged to advise on a project to consolidate the operations of UnitingCare Queensland (Queensland's largest provider of not-for profit health, aged care retirement and disability services) into a single legal structure appropriate for the business operation. I provided

• Developed the new legal structure and the legal methodology for project delivery;
• Co-ordained internal and external due diligence;
• Developed and supervised document review and assessment process;
• Provided strategic legal advice on compliance and regulatory matters;
• Led negotiations and drafting of complex agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and minimizing potential legal exposure;
• Collaborated with specialist internal teams on project delivery;
• Provided advice and direction to the UnitingCare Queensland board;
• Engaged and managed external legal and tax counsel .

I advised clients on ongoing legal matters related to Mergers & Acquisitions transactions and Joint Ventures negotiations.

• Explained available courses of action and possible repercussions of cases to clients.

I was a Corporate and M&A partner at MinterEllison for almost 25 years in areas including business structuring and establishment, mergers & acquisition, due diligence, commercial contracting, governance and compliance and general corporate advisory.
