  • Trained new technicians in proper usage of equipment, safety protocols, and company procedures, ensuring a high level of competence across the team.
  • Held competencies in all outside areas,Nitric Acid & Ammonium Nitrate,Steam utilities,Water plant operation, outside Ammonia.
  • Perform Log rounds, sampling, Plant startup and shutdowns and shift handover logs on all parts of the process including steam boilers, steam turbines, compressors, pumps, conveyer systems, gas metering stations and piping systems.
  • Commissioned the UFRO plant.

  • Permit controller - prepare plant isolations to safely isolate plant ready for maintenance, carryout plant isolations and second check isolations, issue permit to work to maintenance workers, safely restore isolations after maintenance, perform pre-start checks on equipment and safely put plant back into service.

  • Take part in the Emergency Response Group and training days, Safety Risk assessments and HAZOP. Perform take five’s, JSEA’s and Task analysis.

  • Safely and efficiently worked as a sheet metal worker,plumber at Callide C 420MW coal fired supercritical boiler.
  • Applied insulation and cladding to the boiler , duct work, sheeting on the air heaters and some work around the precips.
  • Rigging , scaffolding and crane operation on site at callide C construction
  • Successfully completed shut downs on Callide B ,internal boiler repairs around the nose cone and super heater tubes.
  • Callide C maintenance on Burners, soot blowers, internal tube repairs inside the boiler. I have replaced flight bars on the ash system underneath callide C boiler and bucket elevator.
